Thylander and KanAm Grund Group have signed the construction agreement with NCC to deliver the first phase of Laksegade Kvarteret. The agreement marks a key milestone in the ongoing transformation of the historic district, as the project now moves from planning into execution. NCC will be responsible for carrying out the first stage of construction, which includes the development of five office units and two retail spaces.
From plans to physical transformation
The works will be delivered in collaboration with EKJ, Praksis Arkitekter, and in close dialogue with the Danish Agency for Culture & Palaces and the City of Copenhagen, ensuring that the transformation is carried out with respect for the area’s architectural and cultural heritage.
“We are very pleased to have this agreement in place and to soon see the work begin."
"With NCC, we have a strong and experienced partner who understands the complexity of transforming historic buildings within this scale. The visible changes will soon be underway, and this is where our vision truly starts to take shape”, says Rasmus Tøgern, Project Director at Thylander.

Building the foundation for what's to come
NCC brings extensive experience in complex urban renovation and transformation projects and will lead the construction phase together with a team of specialist subcontractors. With construction activity now set to begin on site, the realisation of Laksegade Kvarteret will officially begin to take shape.
